ITINERARIES

Trapped in a Routine? Travel to Liberation!

After a breakdown with my manager, I took a trip to Iceland, which was the best decision I ever made. I returned and transitioned to a remote position that allows me to travel more. I've never been happier. Take that trip, even if it strains your finances—life won't wait for you.

Here are the places I've visited, and I encourage you to consider the trip.

Destination: Iceland | Duration: 7 days

Day 1: Arrival in Reykjavik

  • Check into your accommodations in Reykjavik.

  • Explore the city center, visiting iconic landmarks like Hallgrímskirkja church and Harpa concert hall.

  • Enjoy a traditional Icelandic dinner at a local restaurant.

    Day 2: Golden Circle Tour

  • Embark on a guided tour of the Golden Circle, a popular tourist route.

  • Visit Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet.

  • See the Geysir geothermal area, home to the famous Strokkur geyser.

  • Marvel at Gullfoss waterfall, one of Iceland's most beautiful natural wonders.

Day 3: South Coast Adventure

  • Take a day trip to the South Coast, known for its stunning landscapes.

  • Visit Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, offering breathtaking views.

  • Explore the Sólheimajökull glacier, a glacier tongue of the Mýrdalsjökull ice cap.

Day 4: Ice Cave Exploration

  • Enjoy a cozy evening by a campfire, stargazing and hoping for a celestial show.

Day 6: Reykjavik Relaxation

  • Spend a leisurely day exploring Reykjavik at your own pace.

  • Visit museums, art galleries, or geothermal spas.

  • Enjoy a relaxing dinner at a waterfront restaurant.

Day 7: Departure

  • Check out of your hotel and head to the airport for your return flight.

Note: This itinerary is a suggestion and can be customized based on your interests and preferences. Consider adding activities like whale watching, horse riding, or visiting a hot spring.
